In Islam there are 5 pillars which guide the Muslims in their beliefs: The declaration of faith, Prayer, Zakat (obligatory charity), Pilgrimage, and Fasting.
Obligatory upon every Muslim is the performance of five daily prayers. Prayer, creates a connection between us and God and it reminds us of our purpose in life: to worship Allah (God) to the best of our abilities.

About Us
Al-Ameen Mosque is a community organization committed to providing a range of religious, educational, and social services for the diverse Muslim community of Edmonton. It was opened in 2001 when there was a need for a Mosque in Northeast Edmonton to cater to the growing Muslim population. Since then, we have grown from a neighbourhood Mosque into a hub for the community. With spacious prayer halls for both brothers and sisters, a multipurpose hall in the basement, along with a kitchen, the Mosque offers opportunities to host a range of programs and services.
